Some of the Products I Trust and Use: As a dog walker and trainee dog trainer, I believe that having the right equipment is just as important as using the right training methods. Every dog is unique, and there is no single solution that works for every situation. That's why I carefully select products that are safe, practical and effective when used correctly.

The products below are items that I personally use and recommend because they have helped me work with dogs of different breeds, ages and temperaments. Above all, I believe in building trust, confidence and good behaviour through patience, consistency and positive reinforcement.

Pet Corrector The Pet Corrector is a humane training aid that emits a harmless burst of compressed air to interrupt unwanted behaviour. It can be useful for addressing behaviours such as excessive barking, jumping up, food stealing and over-excitement. The brief distraction gives owners the opportunity to redirect the dog's attention and reward the behaviour they want to encourage. When used correctly, it is a safe and effective addition to a balanced training programme.

Fida Durable Slip Lead The Fida Slip Lead is one of my favourite walking and training leads. Combining a collar and lead into one simple design, it provides comfortable control while remaining quick and easy to use. The strong rope construction is suitable for medium and large dogs, while the reflective stitching improves visibility during early morning and evening walks. It is an excellent choice for everyday walking, recall training and helping dogs learn to walk calmly on the lead.

Remote Training Collar (E-Collar) Remote training collars are specialist training tools and should only ever be used responsibly, ethically and with a full understanding of modern dog training principles. While these collars include features such as a beep, vibration and static stimulation, I primarily value the audible tone and vibration functions as a way of gaining a dog's attention at a distance and reinforcing previously taught commands.

Training equipment should never replace patience, consistency or positive reinforcement. Used appropriately and with the dog's welfare as the highest priority, specialist training tools can support clear communication and help owners achieve reliable results in specific training situations.

Choosing the Right Equipment No piece of equipment can replace time, patience and understanding. The best results always come from building a strong relationship between owner and dog. My aim is to help every dog become calmer, more confident and better behaved while ensuring that training remains enjoyable, fair and rewarding.

The products I recommend are those I have personally chosen to support my own dog walking and training journey. I only suggest equipment that I believe offers genuine value when used safely and responsibly.
